CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) – It is a move all involved were hoping to avoid.
The 2020 Fairburn Athletic Association (Fairburn Flames) canceled its football and cheerleading seasons officially on July 10th.
Due to the guidelines and the unknowns at this time, the association felt it was safer to postpone the football and cheerleading season, rather than risk the well-being of our kids, coaches, and families.
Please know this decision does not come lightly, but the health and safety of our players, coaches, and families have always been our number one priority. With these unfortunate circumstances we face, we are saddened and share this news with a heavy heart. Rest assured, this decision did not come easy. It is our sincere hope that we will all be back together soon in 2021, more robust and better than ever. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding.
We look forward to having you back next year.
